Buying a post box is not something you do very often. Therefore, it is important that you feel confident in your choice of one of our models, now and for many years to come.

For more then 20 years, we have delivered over 300,000 postboxes to satisfied property owners in Sweden and European countries. All our models are based on European standard EN 13724: 2002, which means that the models must be designed and built to meet the requirements for safety, minimize the risk of water ingress, protection and function for recipients and ergonomics and efficiency for the person delivering the mail. So not only have you chosen a good post box - it also makes the postman happy.

A post box that lasts - year after year

All the post boxes we sell are designed and developed by us. Our only business is post boxes, so over the years we have built up extensive knowledge to be the leading company we are. All details and functions are well thought out to both provide a long life and also cope with the tough environment that a post box must withstand. To be on the safe side, we have always chosen to go the extra mile. A little thicker and hot-dip galvanized sheet metal, made some extra reinforcements on doors and edges, chosen stainless steel where we think it was needed and spray painted everything in an extra durable color. Some people think that making a post box can't be that complicated. We think so. If it is to last.

A little love - from time to time

For the post box to stay as fresh and nice as when you got it, a little maintenance is needed. We recommend that you wash the mailbox annually with detergent. Feel free to use a bottle brush in places where it may be difficult to reach. You can also use car wax on the post box to give it a little extra shine.

Wet mail?

The weakest point of the post box is the openings. With our design solutions, we have minimized the risk of water entering the post box. Once the mail is in place in the box, you can rest assured that it will not get wet.

If it does, it is due to the following:

• The throw-in is inward opening to make it easier for the postman and to avoid the risk of larger envelopes having to be folded or the mail getting stuck. Make sure that the throw-in always springs back to its original position so that no water can enter. On rainy days, the throw-in may be wet. When the postman puts your mail in, it is brushed against the throw-in and may risk getting a small amount of water on it.
• The emptying door closes against a groove that runs along the inside of the opening. The groove diverts the water that runs out from under the door. On rainy days, a small amount of water may accumulate and remain in the groove (due to the surface tension of the water). Take extra care when opening the door to avoid splashing the water. Much like opening a wet car door.

Also remember to place the post box so that the postman has a minimum distance between his mail and your post box. This is particularly important on rainy days, but also good for the working environment.
